Always habibi, Never friends | دائما حبيبي ، لا أصدقاء أبدا

Was an research and development supported by National Dance Company Wales through their Laboratori project in 2021. Always habibi, never friends, explores and celebrates the characteristics of Lebanese culture, and the historic place that Lebanon holds in the world.

Taking reference from the film 'West Beirut', we looked into what Lebanon looked like before, and after it's civil war from 1975 - 1990, how the country has changed, as well as what the country inherently encompasses, Thawra (Revolution) through times of adversity.
